This site is dedicated to alternate sources of energy in particular systems that can be made at home inexpensively with materials and tools available at your local hardware stores.

Using a different source for your energy should save money for many years to come,  but  more importantly using a renewable energy such a solar power or wind power will have a lasting effect on the environment for many generations to come. Perhaps in the near future this course of action will be more mainstream.
